Coach Doc Rivers said he thought Rondo, despite being held scoreless, “played terrific” against Indiana. “I thought he played with great energy,” Rivers said. Rondo, who leads the NBA in assists, had consecutive season lows of three and five assists against Philadelphia (March 11) and Milwaukee (March 13), to which Rivers acknowledged, “He wasn’t playing well. He wasn’t playing with the speed that we needed him to play with.”
