US cloud-based gaming service OnLive has announced that it will no longer charge users a monthly base fee OnLive founder and CEO Steve Perlman announced the decision via the OnLive blog. "We’ve had a promotion waiving the monthly fee for the first year, so this announcement is confirming what we had hoped - that we can continue without a monthly fee beyond the FFXIV Gil first year," wrote Perlman.
